Galentine's Day: a made up (but now national holiday) created by NBC's TV show, "Parks and Recreation," in 2010. Leslie Knope describes the day as "It's only the greatest day of the year." It is a day where women celebrate friendship and themselves. The day is celebrated on February 13th so it naturally outshines Valentine's Day.

Some Galentine's Day ideas are:

1. Go shopping

2. Go out to eat

3. Send out cards

4. Eat lots and lots of candy (or waffles)

5. Treat Yo Self

6. Volunteer

7. Watch a movie

8. Read a book

9. Smile

10. Enjoy the day

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
