The stickers tell all.

Are you really a college student if you don't have your laptop decorated with a myriad of somewhat odd Redbubble stickers ranging from cheesy quotes to a classy meme? The answer is no, no you are not. The real and much harder to answer question is, what kind of student are you? It's a good thing our cheap yet trendy stickers hold the answer. Are you a Greek? Goth? Party animal? Pot head? A mix of all? I suppose you have to decide.

1. "The Writer"

Writers can be observed with "careful or you'll end up in my novel' stickers besides the head of Edgar Allen Poe and a blue text bubble correction of '*you're'. Engage with only if your grammar is up to snuff.

2. "The Meme Lord"

Whether it be a Kermit sipping tea, a bold "YEET", or a large print of Shrek's face these people are always up to date on their meme knowledge, and therefore on their stickers. If you decide to engage with these individuals, make sure you're updated on memes.

3. "Hey Do You Watch The Office?"

These individuals can be seen with multiple headshots of Micheal Scott, the Dunder Mifflin logo, and "Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica" galore in their sticker collections. They are obsessed. Do not be fooled, for they may incorporate other tv show quotes just to persuade you that The Office is not their life.

4. "I'm Kinda In Greek Life"

These individuals eat, sleep, and breathe greek life. Their laptop is an assortment of their letters and philanthropic quotes. They want you to eat a slice of greek life every time you gaze upon their computer. They are loud and proud.

5. "The Party Animal"

These people are the life of the party at every weekend rager. They can be easily spotted by their Bud light and Fireball whisky logo stickers next to the one saying "USA Drinking Team". They know all the party spots and wants everyone to be their friend.

6. "The Theatre Nerd"

They speak fluent showtunes and are most likely theatre majors. These individuals usually have the classic Playbill logo, accompanied by "I can't I have rehearsal" and multitudes of stickers symbolizing their favorite musicals. This can include a quote of "sincerely me" or the Schuyler sisters snapping to WORK.

7. "The Athlete"

The athletes normally have the fewest stickers of any category. But, the stickers they do have normally are inspirational quotes in bold Nike font and a mixture of their favorite sports teams, with maybe one or two symbolizing the sport they actually play thrown in there. They don't have too much energy to spend on stickers. *Sigh* How sad.

8. "The Gamer"

These hardcore gamers would much rather be playing their video games than engaging in conversation. Most only converse when it involves game strategy, cheat codes, or online player info. They can be picked out by their gamer symbol stickers that most others would never understand, such as turtle shells, radioactive emblems, and a running cactus.

9. "The Disney Fanatic"

Disney fanatics believe dreams really do come true with the power of pixie dust. Their laptops are covered in classic cursive style quotes and smiling Disney character faces. They smile more than most and are almost too optimistic

10. "The Artist"

Artists have probably the weirdest assortment of stickers. From flowers, to random things that really have no meaning to anyone else, to a painting of 'Starry Night', to cheesy artist puns, they're all over the place. No one really knows what's going on with these people. But, they're nice enough.

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
