Everyone is different. No one thinks the same, no one has the same thoughts or the same exact interests. One particular interest that always differs is types of music! Here's a list of different genre's of music and what it says about people if that's their favorite.

1. Classical Music

If your favorite music is classical, from my perspective odds are you're a music major. You're extremely intellectual and very analytical as well. You have a deep appreciation for life and especially music! You also love conducted in your room as if you were in Carnegie Hall.

2. Showtunes

This is honestly a no-brainer. You're a theater geek, whether you actually participate in theater or if you just truly enjoy belting your heart out to "Waitress." This also means you're a very exciting person to be around. You enjoy making people laugh and be a positive influence on everyone.

3. Classic Rock

You're probably just a really cool person. You are well liked by everyone. You're also pretty knowledgeable and know almost everything there is to know about classic rock starting from the 1950s. You also really enjoy playing the air guitar when listening to Santana, David Bowie or Led Zepplin.

4. Pop

You like modern things! The new upbeat music gets you pumped and you're not ashamed of it. You probably blast Ariana Grande in your car and you're proud of it, as you should be! You also LOVE dancing, and what better music there is to dance to?

5. Disco.

Well, this means you have a pretty broad range in taste of music. You probably love the movie Saturday Night Fever if you enjoy Disco. The Bee Gee's are also everything to you. Also, you're probably a really fun person to be around, because hey, disco is pretty darn fun

6. Acoustic

If you listen to acoustic, this means you're a very chill person. You enjoy the calming side of music, and have a appreciation for the covers of music people do. Your chill personality makes you super likable and easy going.

7. Jazz

If you listen to Jazz, odds are you're pretty educated about this genre. You probably love Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, and Ella Fitzgerald also. In terms of personality you are a extremely vibrant person.

8. Country

This means you just love to have a good time and be a blast for everyone. You appreciate how different country is compared to other genre's. This also means you love to spend time with you friends and family.

It's clear that all of these are very different, but they all share the common quality that you're just an awesome person! Everyone is different from each other, but that's totally okay, because who you are is already so special and unique.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Obsessive Thoughts Keep My Brain Stuck On A Loop And Me Stuck On My Couch

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.

I don't know if it is related to my anxiety, perfectionism or depression. I don't know why it happens. It's frustrating, it's painful and it stops me from functioning.

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.
