As we all know and have seen, Hamilton the musical has taken the world by storm once again, via Disney+. 4 years after its Broadway debut, it has finally reached our screens and I could not be more thankful. Being able to watch the amazing cast do what they do best and FREE, is more than I could ask for. The musical has had amazing reviews and reactions for years and it continues to get those same positive reviews, starting with the plot that was amazingly reinterpreted, written and directed by Lin Manuel Miranda. Lin has created a great show that includes both history and entertainment, something school lacks.

Aside from the amazing story that Lin has written to tell, it is brought to life by the incredible actors and entertainers that play the supporting roles in the show. Knowing how impactful this show has been, there is no doubt in my mind that everyone has developed their favorites, and I'm here to tell you what your favorite Hamilton figure says about you.

Alexander Hamilton

If your favorite character is Hamilton, then you are a leader. You are someone that wants to take matters into your own hands and fight for what is right. You thrive off of the motivation you get from your downfalls, you want to continue to prove yourself. Although you enjoy to fight for what is right, once you get to your end goal, you will continue to strive for more, you are never satisfied ;). You are someone who finds love in many people, but still cherish family and consistency with that very value. Not one of your possible better qualities, but you can be easily offended. You take everything to heart and you snap back just as quick as it is given. Aside from those few downfalls, you are a true hero to the world around you and you are destined to do great things, "just you wait".

I would also like to add that I am personally honored to be apart of LinTok (Lin Manuel Miranda TikTok).

If your favorite character is Aaron Burr, I apologize, but you're a brat that can't make up your mind. You want to look better and seem better than everyone else and you wish the worst on those that are doing better than you. Pick someone else for your favorite is my advice.

Marquis de Lafayette

If your favorite is Lafayette, then it's either for one of two reason, you are either extremely attracted to him, or you are just as passionate about friendship as he is, either one is relatable. You are someone who tends to help your friends when you have a common goal at stake. Although sometimes your starting opinions and intentions may not be as pure as they are when you go to help your friends, but in the end, you are there for them. You hold pride on yourself for being tactical and wise, always a good thing.

John Laurens

If your favorite is John Laurens, you are most likely attracted to him and everything he does, like myself. Aside from attraction, he is a great character. If he is your favorite you are most likely the most loyal friend that you know. You care for your friends deeply and would go out of your way to make them feel good. You would die for them, just as John did for Hamilton. Your passion for what you love and believe in is so strong that you convince others. You believe in equality and wish that everyone was treated equality regardless of appearance. After some digging, I found he was said to be Hamilton's secret lover, meaning you may be a little more into your relationships than you claim to be. Again, very popular amongst the ladies AND the gents.

Angelica Schuyler

If Angelica is your favorite then you are indeed a lady boss. No doubt a feminist. You wish to have equality for women and men and you will do whatever you need to do to fight for it. You live up to your family's expectations and care deeply for the people closest to you. You tend to put others before yourself even though you wish better for yourself. You can be a jealous person, but you will not act on those temptations because of your loyalty to those closest to you.

Eliza Schuyler

if your favorite is Eliza, you have such a pure heart and soul. You give people the benefit of the doubt in bad situations and forgive easily. Although you do have your suspicions, you are still a kind person. You care for your family and love being around those you care for. You love family and wish to teach those about history. You want to help tell the stories in order to make the world a better place, you believe in the teaching of history in order to change the future.

King George III

If you like King George III the most, then you simply are in love with Jonathan Groff. If not that, then you love splash zones and sprinklers, there is no other reason to love that man. (I identify with the first statement).

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
