What Your Favorite Fast Food Place Says About You

In This Article:

As much as people hate to admit it, everyone enjoys the occasional fast food. Whether it's late-night McDonald's or a good burrito from Chipotle, fast food is a staple in our society and there is no changing that. Since being in college, I've started to eat more fast food than I would normally at home and after figuring out my favorites and looking at my friends and their favorites, I think I've figured out what everyone's favorite fast food place says about them.

McDonald's

If your favorite fast food place is McDonald's, I'm going to guess that 70% of the reason why it's your favorite fast food place is because of the fries. You've probably been eating at McDonald's your whole life and you spend a lot of time defending yourself when it comes to people's judgements. I would say that you're probably pretty fun and easygoing except for when the ice cream machine isn't working at McDonald's then, all bets are off. While you acknowledge that it is unhealthy, you can't give it up because those McNuggets are immaculate.

Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A is just a slightly healthier version of McDonald's honestly and we as a society need to start acknowledging it. If you like Chick-Fil-A, you really just like McDonald's but you want to be healthier so you justify your desire for nuggets by going to Chick-Fil-A. I'm not sure why but I feel like people who really like Chick-Fil-A are the type of people to get their assignments done way before the deadline so I guess I would say that if you like Chick-Fil-A you're motivated.

Chipotle

If you consider Chipotle to be your favorite fast-food, you are very good at making decisions as evidenced by the amount of topping choices they have there. When people ask you what you want to eat, you never say "I don't know" because you do know and it's Chipotle. With all of that being said, there are two types of people at Chipotle; people who get burritos because they aren't afraid of being messy and people who get bowls because they don't want everything to spill out.

Wendy's

I'm going to be honest, I don't know a lot of people whose favorite fast-food is Wendy's so I guess if your favorite fast-food is Wendy's you're unique. I also feel like people whose favorite fast-food is Wendy's don't really enjoy fast-food and just get it because it's healthier than McDonalds. I think they sell salads which is rare for fast-food places but I can't imagine that many people go to Wendy's for the salads but if you do, you are very impressive.

While there are many more fast-food places, these four were the main four I think about whenever mentions fast-food. I did not include Sheetz or Wawa because I honestly don't have an opinion on either of them so I can't make a good judgement. Anyways, happy fast-fooding!

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
