Our generation has had the privilege of growing up mesmerized by the magic of Disney. Animated movies like "Peter Pan" and "Cinderella" act as the foundation of our dearest, childhood memories. What most people don't realize however, is that these movies teach us lessons we carry throughout our entire lives. Those very movies we once watched sitting cross-legged in our footie pajamas as we munched on a bowl full of Oreos shaped our personalities as well.

1. "Inside Out"

You are unpredictable, moody, and don’t make sense most of the time. The most important thing though, is that you hold a heart made of pure gold. Putting yourself in others’ shoes is a moral you have always attempted to live by. You also love to stay busy and probably forget to take care of yourself more often than not, always tending to others.

2. "Monsters Inc."

Though a very realistic individual with a strong work ethic, you secretly have a soft spot for children and would do anything to protect them. Staying strong and giving off the “tough guy” vibe is what you stick to, even though your creativity and imagination runs wild when others least expect it.

3. "Wall-E"

Chances are, a lot of obstacles have tried to knock you down, but giving up is never an option with you. Staying active and busy is what you do while stopping to enjoy the little things in life at the same time. Persistent, caring, and optimistic are three perfect adjectives for a person like you.

4. "Aladdin"

An imaginative and adventurous individual like you can go a bit overboard rather quickly. You are not afraid to challenge authority and think that a little trouble won’t hurt anyone. Entertaining others is a passion of yours, always striving to be liked by all. Your drive causes you to make your big dreams an even bigger reality.

5. "The Little Mermaid"

Your curiosity frequently gets the best of you. You may be relatively quiet and timid, but that doesn’t mean you’re a pushover. In fact, your strong sense of independence often leads you to do things no one ever imagined you could. Your daydreams and fantasies within your own little world are just the beginning

6. "Beauty And The Beast"

You see beauty in everything that surrounds you. Even in the meanest, ugliest, oldest forms, you can still see the good it hides deep within. You are never influenced by society’s ways- you simply do whatever makes you happy. Kindness runs through your veins and you see through a lens that most others don’t.

7. "Frozen"

Family is the most important thing in your life. You move to the beat of your own drum and you have the drive to do pretty much whatever you want to. You’re a girly, hopeless romantic and a sucker for romantic comedies.

8. "Toy Story"

You are a super nostalgic individual. You live in the past and have a heart full of dear memories. You’re also probably a rather emotional one who often cries at the drop of a hat. Nonetheless, your childhood was some of the best years of your life.

Never underestimate the impact of Disney movies as we live by their morals today and every other day, too.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
