Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is finally socially acceptable to begin watching Christmas movies and getting in the holiday spirit. Whether you enjoy the holiday or not, you have to admit that Christmas movies hit different. However, not everyone has the same taste in Christmas films. Some prefer traditional, family-oriented comedies, while others prefer Christmas movies with a modern twist. That being said, here's what your favorite Christmas movie says about you.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas"

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is a Christmas classic. You might personally resonate with Charlie Brown in this movie, or maybe you resonate with the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Either way, you might not enjoy the holiday season as much as other people, but you find that spending it with your loved ones makes it better.

"The Nightmare Before Christmas"

"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a Christmas movie, despite the debate surrounding it, and if this film is your favorite Christmas movie, you probably agree. I'd say that if this is your favorite Christmas movie, you really enjoy fantasy films, and you probably believed in Santa until around middle school.

"Love Actually"

"Love Actually" is one of my favorite Christmas movies. If this is your favorite, you probably prefer the quality time with your family, friends, or other loved ones part of Christmas over the presents.

"How The Grinch Stole Christmas"

If "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" is your favorite Christmas movie, you probably see a part of yourself in the Grinch. You may say that you don't like Christmas, but deep down, you probably really enjoy the holiday.

"Home Alone"

If "Home Alone" is your favorite holiday movie, you probably feel a connection with Kevin McCallister. You might not like spending the holidays with your family, and maybe even dread it, but in the end you're still grateful that you have them.

"Home Alone 3 or 4"

You're the worst.

"A Christmas Story"

You probably have a great sense of humor and are definitely the funny one in your family.

"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

Your family does its best to have at least one normal, peaceful holiday, but that just can't ever seem to happen. Something always seems to go wrong, and it's probably the most stressful time of year for you, but nonetheless, you enjoy it.

"It's A Wonderful Life"

You're a sucker for the classics, and you probably find yourself pondering the meaning of life often. You value the family and friend aspect of Christmas, and people can count on you to be supportive.

"Elf"

Let's be best friends.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
