Facebook can be a fun way to express yourself!

What Your Facebook Posts Say About You

Facebook is one of those social media outlets that isn’t being utilized as much as it had been in the past. Most people now just use it to check in with family, add pictures, and share a plethora of different articles/videos.

Cooking Videos

For the people sharing cooking videos, much like myself, want to become better cooks. We see something tasty and want to try it out for ourselves. It’s a miracle if the recipe ever makes it to the kitchen, though.

Animal Videos

It’s OK to be obsessed with animals. You can’t help that they do cute things all the dang time! It happens. People might get tired of seeing video after video of cats doing random things, though. Hopefully these videos of bears playing with balloons or a monkey playing with cats will bring happiness to your friends and family of Facebook!

Pictures of Your Life

Facebook is good for sharing your life with friends and family. Sometimes it’s used to show that you do, in fact, have a life outside of being a crazy cat lady. Although, let’s be honest, most of your pictures are of you and your cat, anyway!

Movie Trailers

These are fun, because who doesn’t love movies? Whether or not you took the time to watch the trailer or just thought it looked good, you can save it for later and go see the movie when it comes out, even though you will probably forget when it comes out.

DIY Projects

Let’s be honest, that three-tiered pot for plants is great, but are you ever going to make it? Probably not, but you’re showing Facebook you have an eye for things you want to try to make! You’re creative and that’s all that counts!

Politics

Politics is something you see all over Facebook, well, all social media, basically. It shows you have something to say, whether you did your homework or not. There have been some good political debates between some interesting people on Facebook, so watch for those!

Pictures of Quotes

Sometimes writing posts can get tiring, I mean, who has time for that nowadays unless you are riled up? Instead, you can just post pictures of your favorite quotes! Half the work with some semi good quotes!

Funny Videos/Vines

These are the videos you watch when you are bored or when you should be sleeping, but instead you are laughing hysterically at these videos. You can’t help but share them, so that they bring laughter to everyone else. Plus, if you ever need a good laugh, you know where to find it.

Articles From News Stations

Whether it’s news from your hometown news station or a national news station, these articles/videos show that you are somewhat trying to keep up with current events and can talk about them! You also might just love your hometown and want everyone to know all about what goes on there.

Exercise Videos

“I really need to start exercising, but I just don’t want to go to the gym,” is a daily thought that I have. I have also shared a lot of exercising videos on Facebook. While scrolling through Facebook, the exercises done look great and can be done at home! It always seems like a good idea to save it, even if you never look at it again!

Articles/Videos That You Cannot Believe Exist

The articles and videos just blew your mind and now you can’t wait to show all of your friends and family what that cat can do or the new restaurant for homeless people to “eat with dignity."

Facebook is your one stop shop for anything and everything you could ever want to look up! You can have your personal pictures, meals/crafts you may or may not make, and anything else you could ever want!

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Obsessive Thoughts Keep My Brain Stuck On A Loop And Me Stuck On My Couch

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.

I don't know if it is related to my anxiety, perfectionism or depression. I don't know why it happens. It's frustrating, it's painful and it stops me from functioning.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.
