You know the rumors... The ones where you, and your entire pledge class, (now referred to as new member class), get blindfolded, only to be dropped off in some deserted area to find your way back to campus.
Greek life has gotten a bad reputation when it comes to hazing. While the news reports about sorority, and fraternity members being harmed by hazing are true, there is another side that you don't always hear about. Many Greek organizations, and individuals have been working to put an end to hazing, and all of the stigma that comes with getting to be initiated into a chapter. This isn't just some small movement, it is actually a culture change within the Greek community. Hazing just isn't cool anymore. It's not cool to get your chapter penalized, or harm another individual, or even find yourself in legal trouble. Greek college men, and women are on the same page when it comes to proving the stereotypical movies wrong.
