Some people tend to struggle on how to express their feelings to women. Here are a handful of statements from a variety of women on what they actually want to hear from their significant other. I’m not saying these liners will definitely work for you, but believe it or not, depending on the person, sometimes it’s as simple as this.

  • “You’re my best friend.” –Micaela.
  • “I’m being honest with you (and is actually being honest with you).” –Nicole.
  • “I have your back no matter what.” –Ashley.
  • “My boyfriend always encourages me and makes me feel great about myself, so I just hope to continue hearing that he’s happy to have me in his life and wouldn’t want it any other way.” –Christina.
  • “You are an important person in my life.” –Tara.
  • “Your lipstick matches your outfit.” -Libby.
  • “I have attainable life goals that I’m working towards.” –K.D.
  • “I’m passionate about what I’m doing and value my family.” -Liz.
  • “I tell you how I truly feel and I’ll call you out when you’re doing something wrong. I want us to be able to actually communicate.” –Allyce.
  • “Free shipping.” -Sevde.
  • “I would love to give you my grandmothers ring. This was handed down to me from her, and I believe I found the right woman to give it to. The only woman in my life who deserves it.” –Julie.
  • “I want to hear what’s in their heart. Sometimes, gestures are greater than words and it’s the little things that make us feel most loved. Give me something from the heart.” –Jennifer.
  • “I love you like a fat kid loves cake.” –Kelly.
  • “My life is better because you’re in it.” –Meagan.
  • “Be the guy who isn’t afraid to show me your softer side.” –Gabriella.
  • “Tell me how much you admire me. Not every single second of every day, but a comment here or there would make my day.” –Annette.
  • “I like when he tells me I’m his support system.” –Sally.
  • “You make me a better man.” –Isabel.
  • “I see a future with you.” -Diane.
  • “I’m honest with you, I appreciate you, I love you, and I’m not afraid to commit to you.” –Jessica.
  • “Your feelings are important to me.” -Jenn.

There ya have it, folks. All women are different, so get to know your woman by communicating with her. In due time you'll know exactly what to say (and what not to say).

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
