It's the American Horror Story season heard 'round the world: the mysterious season six. Up until September 14th, no one had any idea what the theme of this season would be. After countless teaser trailers that were meant to throw you off the trail of the real theme, we finally found out that this season would be about the Lost Colony of Roanoke. If you don't know what that is, basically a bunch of colonists randomly just disappeared, with no evidence as to where they went or what happened to them. Instead of just doing the story about the colonists and what led to them disappearing, AHS decided to put a twist on the story. We are watching a fake documentary series called My Roanoke Nightmare, and it follows a young couple named Shelby and Matt, who tell their real life story about what happened to them when they moved to Roanoke. It then cuts back and forth between them and the dramatic reenactment, which shows the disturbing things that are happening to them, like teeth falling from the sky and straw dolls hanging from their ceiling. Even though now we know the theme of this season and we are two episodes in, there is still many questions to be answered about what all is going to happen in this season. I have been reading up on a lot of theories and coming up with my own, so let's brainstorm about where this season is going to take us.

First of all, we know it has been confirmed by the creator of the show that in the end, all the seasons will connect. This seemed impossible up until season four, but now there are many distinct connections. One of the main connections I see is how similar to Murder House it is. We got ghosts of colonists, a huge house with a bunch of murders taking place in it, and a lot of disturbing things happening. Sound familiar? This house has to be connected with Murder House in some way. Another connection comes from the creator himself, Ryan Murphy, who points out a connection to Freakshow. He says that in this season, we will learn the backstory of Dandy Mott's family. If you don't remember him, he's the spoiled brat turned psychopath killer. Maybe one of his ancestors was just like him, so that would be quite interesting. I guess we'll have to stay tuned to figure out that connection.

One of the theories that I read about, which would make this season one for the American Horror Story books, would be the breaking of the fourth wall. This means that the dramatic reenactment and the documentary part of the show would merge together in a way that would mess with your mind. Either the documentary part is being filmed in Roanoke and the strange things are going to start happening to them again, or these things are going to start occurring with the actors in the dramatic reenactment. Both of these things would definitely give the show the excitement it needs because, in my opinion, it hasn't picked up yet. I am still holding out hope that this season is going to be awesome, but it seems like we will have to wait a little bit for that to happen. If we waited months to find out the theme of the show, I think it will be easier to wait for it to have the typical American Horror Story twists that we all know and love.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

100
Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
