What We Could Learn From Donald Trump.

He's really not THAT bad.

Confidence.

I think it is safe to say that most people have been in a position where they either are not confident enough to pursue their dreams or are overly confident; either way it usually ends up biting them in the ass. One of Trump's characteristics that has gotten him to where he is, both as a businessman and as a "politician" is his confidence. Whether or not you are for or against him, you have got to give it to him, his confidence is beyond any other. It has taken him from being just your average billionaire to the Republican nominee in the race to become President of the United States of America. The reason I give him credit for this attribute is because it is not easy to switch from being a "success" in one field to becoming somewhat of an equivalent "success" in another.

Just think about it, if one day you decided that you wanted to try something completely out of your comfort zone, something you don't necessarily know anything about, how would you go about it? How would you get people to listen to you? To actually support you and your beliefs, no matter how ridiculous they may sound? That's where confidence comes in. Let's be honest, who would've thought that the host of The Apprentice is now so close to becoming the next president? Trump thought he could do it and now here he is, with millions hanging on to every word that comes out of his mouth. He has come so far in this election not knowing much about politics or the major issues he would have to face, god forbid he becomes president (I'm excited to see exactly how much he really does know in the upcoming debates). He has supporters in various groups all over America (David Duke and Kim Jong Un, just to name a few).

He has flip-flopped on major controversial topics (not really the best quality of a president):

He has shown his true racist, mysoginistic, and just plain old ugly colors:

Yet no matter how absurd his words and actions are, he only gets stronger.

It's not like we haven't had some amazing and confident leaders that have broken barriers and done a pretty fantastic job (Barack Obama, aka the first black President of the United States). The fact that history does repeat itself is why it is not so hard to believe that Trump is where is he is right now. Not even a century ago, the world witnessed one of the most psychotic rulers feed off of people's fears and instill violence and division into millions (Hitler). Similarly, we have Donald Trump.

Forget about the politics and take a minute to really applaud Donald Trump on his confidence. If only it was that easy to be so sure of oneself, enough to try to become the President of the greatest country in the world, just for shits and giggles.

So the next time you convince yourself out of doing something that you want to do but don't think you are qualified enough or the type of person to be doing said thing, give it shot. If Donald Trump could be the Republican nominee for President of The United States of America then anything is possible!

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
