All of us writers get to that point where we have no clue what to write about. It happens to the best of us. We come up with an idea, but when we start writing it doesn't come together like we wanted.

We stare off in today space trying to think of something. What can I write about today? My day? My dog? Is my writing boring? Am I writing about something people will read?

Here is a list of things to write about... Quote style.

WRITE YOUR LIFE

1. If there’s a book you really want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it. ~ Toni Morrison

2. The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can. ~ Neil Gaiman

3. Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. ~ Cyril Connolly

WRITE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES

4. You write about what you know. ~ Larry David

5. If you do not breathe through writing, if you do not cry out in writing, or sing in writing, then don’t write, because our culture has no use for it. ~ Anais Nin

WRITE TO KNOW MORE

6. I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear. ~ Joan Didion

7. I write books to find out about things. ~ Rebecca West

WRITE ABOUT WHAT GIVES US PLEASURE

8. Write in recollection and amazement for yourself. ~ Jack Kerouac

9. I like to write when I feel spiteful. It is like having a good sneeze. ~ D. H. Lawrence

All IN ALL

10. And by the way, everything in life is writable about, if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self doubt . ~ Sylvia Plath

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
