Imagine you start your sophomore year of high school and the guy you fall for is a vampire. And so is his brother. And soon enough, your world is turned upside down, and flooded with all things supernatural. Elena Gilbert, played by Nina Dobrev, lives in this world. With Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder alongside her, there are many reasons the show has become a hit. Though the show is ending this year, its 8 season run has been a memorable one to say the less. There was love, loss, and a whole lot of mischief.
