When the English failed at taking her life as she reached her teens, the Scottish and French Courts decided it was time for her to come to France and soon, wed Francis II, making him the new King in place of his father's death. The two battle someone close to them becoming "mad," threats on their own lives, secrets, and differentiating feelings. Francis and Mary know that they must do what is best for their two nations, but finding a way to balance the two always seems to get in the way. Will they ultimately choose each other and the crowns, or serve their reign with someone else?
