10 Sayings your Ex Says When they're Glad It's Over

In This Article:

If you ever experienced a breakup, quite like I have, then these sayings should be like verses that are coming out of the bible. But it is funny to me that even I have experienced these sayings because I have never really been in a relationship. But somehow, someway, I still managed to get these said to me.

1. It is not you, it is me!

2. I am sure you will find the boy/girl of your dreams!!!

3. Maybe you should go back to her/him. Maybe you guys can work things out.

4. I am here for my stuff!!!!

5. New phone who this!!!

6. I just want us to be friends!!!

7. You could never change!!!

8. Well at least you have your family

9. I have found someone better than you.

10. I have moved on!!!

These sayings are hurtful and taxing on the brain, but us as individuals, we can learn how to deal with a dramatic experience such as this!! And I would hope that the person who decided to leave you really thinks about the biggest mistake they just made. In the end they all do anyway, when they do not get treated the way they thought they would when they decided to leave you. It is all about life lessons and experiences, and experience is the best teacher.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
