What To Gift The Person Who Has Everything

We all have that one person who we do not know what to buy because it seems like they have everything in this world. How do you shop for that person simply has it all? The trick to gift giving for these particular people is to get them something they would not buy themselves. A variety to choose from, low-cost to high-cost, you should try and wrapping these surprises.

1. Experiences

Instead of giving an actual item, try looking up events you could prepay for. No one can pass up a fun adventure! These experiences could range from adventurous to romantic. Here are a couple of ideas to do: concert, sky-diving, hot air balloon ride, any sort of teaching class (cooking, self-defense, photography, etc.), tickets to an art gallery, museum tickets, aquarium or zoo, amusement park, plays/ musicals, hiking, mountain cabin, skiing/ snowboarding, or white water rafting. You could even take a mini trip to another city!

2. Prepaid Services

What I mean by prepaid services is something that you can pay for that will make that person's life easier. For example, if you are gifting for a parent then you could hire a babysitter for the night. You could also hire a housecleaner or even detail their car. There are a million options that you could choose from.

3. Memberships

Memberships does not have to be just magazines. There a so many things you can sign up for that send you unique items each month. If the person is a dog lover, there are dog box subscriptions where they send you dog items. If the person loves beauty supplies, you could look up a couple boxes that send samples of make-up and beauty supplies each month. Whatever the person likes, there is probable some sort of subscription you can find.

4. Spa Day

Whether it is a woman or a man, everyone loves a spa day! Enjoying a nice day of relaxation to themselves is a great gift on its own. You can get them a gift card to a nail salon or reserve a massage at a spa, there are many options for relaxation.

5. Gift Cards

Many people say that gift cards are the "easy way out" presents. You can make it personal by getting them gift cards to places that they love. If this person has everything, what better way to let them choose what they want then with a gift card.

6. Personalized Items

That does not necessarily mean monogram everything you buy, which you could do. Personalized items can include pictures or something that is engraved. You can personal pictures on almost anything. You can get a piece of jewelry engraved. There is one store that burns the ashes of flowers into pieces of jewelry. There are countless ways to make items personal, just look them up!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
