14 Things To Fall In Love With All The Time

Quoting the song Let's Do It, "falling in love, is such an easy thing to do. Birds can do it, we can do it, let's stop talking let's get to it, Let's fall in love" love is the best feeling. There may or may not be ups and downs from falling in love, like the heartache when it doesn't work out. There will be times that it won't work out, but that is what it takes to find the one.

My advice to anyone over the age of 18, because love is difficult to find that actually makes you feel the feels, is to fall in love. Fall in love with boys, girls, food, classes, books, anything! There are more things you can love instead of a person.

Fall in love with your favorite restaurant downtown that serves your favorite kind of french fries. Take all of your friends who are visiting you there to share your love for this place.

Fall in love with your major. Make it the most important thing in your life. Be passionate about your classes, your professors, and your peers. You will be stuck with your major forever, love it.

Fall in lovewith your school. You are going to be there for the next four years. Fall for the campus, the foliage, the buildings, the sculptures. There is so much to love about where you will be spending your college years.

Fall in love with your friends. They will be there when you are at your highest, lowest, and anywhere in between. They are your rock. Love them with all you have because they do.

Fall in love with the town you live in. Explore all the different neighborhoods that you have. Take in the local businesses. There is so much that is different than from your hometown, cherish the different surroundings.

Fall in love with books, they are your escape from the real world. Classes assign books to read, might as well fall in love with them. Leave the stress and rush of college for a different world in a book.

Fall in lovewith that douche of a frat boy because why not. You know all he is good for are drunken hookups and maybe the occasional formal. Falling in love with him will make you realize how you should be treated.

Fall in lovewith the nice guy. He will take you out to dinner, show you off, and love you back. There is nothing better than loving someone who will love you back.

Fall in lovewith your best friend. They may live with you, or 1,000+ miles away. Whether or not they are there for you. They love you, love them back with everything because they know you better than yourself.

Fall in lovewith your family, of course you already love them, but fall in love with them all over again. You won't see them as often, so enjoy the time that you get to spend with them.

Fall in love with food, eat your favorite foods all the time, or try new foods and fall for them. Food is a necessity, so why not.

Fall in love with your ex, they will always be there for you. Whether it be someone to vent to, or someone to tell you what is wrong with your car (thanks Justin).

Fall in love with your pets. They always want to cuddle (unless they can't), are soft, and just love you unconditionally. Why wouldn't you love a cuddley, soft, puppy/kitty/etc.

There are many things to fall in love with, but most importantly fall in love with yourself. You are a completely different person in college. Away from your high school reputation, your high school peers, and your hometown where everyone knows you. You are finding yourself, fall in love with the hipster you, home-grown girl, the fit girl, or even the metal girl. There are so many different stages you can go through to find yourself. Love them all, you are important and if you don't love yourself, how can you love anything else?

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
