1. Plan a trip with friends.

While this is an obvious one, the place you visit doesn’t have to be! If partying is your thing, go the traditional Spring Break in Cancun route. If not, you can plan a camping trip (preferably somewhere warm), or a road trip to the Grand Canyon (or another cool landmark). Or, randomly pick a place on a map and research the nearest big city and what things there are to do there.

2. Visit a high school friend at their university.

It can be hard to see everyone over winter break, plus it feels like it was so long ago! Shoot a text over to one of your best friends from high school and see if you can spend some time with them, and have them show you around their new city.

3. Go to a theme park.

Relive your childhood memories by visiting a theme park with a bunch of friends. Hopefully, since it’s the off-season, the lines will be fairly short, and you’ll be able to go on more rides than you would be able to in the summer.

4. Bring a friend from college home with you.

Invite one of your friends from school to come visit, and show them around all of the sights - or lack thereof, depending on where you’re from. It’ll be nice to spend some time with a friend without the stress of impending homework.

5. Visit family.

If you haven’t seen your grandparents or an aunt, uncle or cousin in a while, this might be a good time to do that. Even if it’s just lunch, it could give you a good opportunity to catch up and it will probably mean a lot to them that you reached out.

6. Take the time to organize your clothes/room/life.

This sounds like a pretty boring option, but going through things and getting rid of the old can help you feel refreshed. Going through clothes and donating the ones you don’t wear or that don’t fit you anymore has an added bonus of helping a charity, which isn’t always possible when you’re a broke college kid.

7. Plan a trip for the summer/next spring break.

If you feel like you wasted this spring break or didn’t do all that you could’ve done, take steps now so you won’t feel the same way next year! Reach out to your friends now before they make other plans, find cheap deals, and set the wheels in motion. Planning a trip can take a lot of time and energy, and it’ll be easier to do it now than it will be once classes start up again.

8. Just enjoy doing nothing!

You have an entire week to sleep, watch Netflix, and basically do whatever you want. If you’re too type A to consider just laying around, give yourself a relaxing challenge or to-do list. See how many movies you can watch, whether you can finish the series you’ve been watching, or read a few books.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
