What To Do On Valentine's When You're Single

Have you never had a Valentine and are dwelling on the day approaching us? Here is a list of things to do with your girls when your single on this upcoming valentine day.

1. Go out with your gal pals

Going out with your girlfriends can be so much fun. This day does not have to consist of you sitting on your couch watching Nicholas Sparks movies while eating your sorrows away. GET UP AND GO OUT! Trust me you will not regret it. You can change this "annoying" day to an iconic night with the girls.

2. Have a Galentine's party

Instead of going out you can always stay in and invite all of your single friends! This can consist of fun music and mixers for the girls! (and boys if you wanted to) You can put up cute décor so that you can get A1 Instagram pics for your feed while mingling with single friends and forgetting about not having a significant other.

3. TREAT YO SELF

If none of these sounds appealing to you, you can always have a "me" day. This can consist of getting an hour massage and getting your nails done. After all, this day is about love and the person you should always love first is yourself. You can also go on a shopping splurge! This sounds great to me, to be honest (even though my mom and dad might not like that).

4. Go on a road trip

I know this Valentine's day is on a Thursday, but who cares! If you do not have any classes, this day or Friday plan a spontaneous road trip with your girls! I know that I have the best time going on road trips driving listening to music with the windows down is a feeling like no other!

Although I just gave you a couple of ideas for this upcoming valentine's day this day is all about love even though it might seem like a day to spend hundreds on a person you're in a relationship with. Since it is about love it is all about YOU, do what YOU want to do and what makes YOU happy. Self-love is the greatest kind of love.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
