What To Consider Getting For Your Wife After Delivery of A New-born

After the baby is born, husbands usually give push presents to their wives to thank them for taking good care of their precious children during the pregnancy term and having a successful delivery. Presenting this gift is also a good gesture to celebrate the arrival of their beloved child and welcome this new family addition.

For the mothers who have undergone a lot during the expectancy stage and delivery of the baby, receiving this gift warms their hearts and makes them feel loved and appreciated. This gift is also an encouragement to them for the start of their motherhood roles (for first-time mothers) or the start of the motherhood journey of having another child to take care of.

Husbands usually start searching for the push present a month before the baby's expected delivery date as the baby may arrive earlier. The choice of push present depends on their wives' lifestyle after the birth of their child: will their wives become stay at home moms or return to the workforce after maternity leave; their tastes and preferences, for example, if they are fashionistas, fitness junkies or practical folks.

These are a few popular push gift ideas to consider which cater to most women's tastes and preferences.

  • 1.Photo Collage Book

Most women would like to have their beautiful memories preserved in a tangible form – a photo collage book. They would like to remember and document all the milestones of their child's development years even before the baby is born.

The milestones before the baby are born to include the following in chronological order, from pregnancy announcement to the first trimester and subsequent trimesters of pregnancy, the preparatory period for the baby's arrival, to the anticipation of the baby's arrival and the birth of their baby.

Presenting a personalized photo collage book is a priceless gift that will move any wife to tears. From this photo collage book, women can feel their husbands' time and effort in painstakingly selecting the suitable photos, writing meaningful messages per photo, and ending with a thank you message especially for his wife.

  • 2.Personalized Jewellery

Giving their wives personalised jewellery is another sentimental gift to consider if they love wearing jewellery. The type of jewellery to consider depends on whether they are returning to work or are becoming a stay at home moms to look after the baby. For women who are returning to work, a classy jewellery suitable for work is a more ideal choice, as they will spend a large part of their waking up hours at work. If they are becoming stay at home moms, a casual jewellery that they can wear daily is a more practical choice.

Personalising the jewellery with a thank you message or the birthstone of their child increases the sentimental value of the gift.

Thanking new moms for their sacrifice and hard work is a kind and important gesture. Giving appropriate push presents are certainly one of the best ways to do so.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.
