Home is where the heart is, right? But I mean it doesn't hurt to also have WiFi that actually works, a big TV, cable, a comfy bed, and parents that bring you food to your comfy bed while you binge watch shows or movies. And talking about movies, here are some that you might want to consider adding to your winter break list. I think I have already watched most of these at least 3 times each so they are obviously worth watching! Just a warning though, there are some tear inducing movies here so just be aware. Also, there won’t be any scary movies because I get scared even watching just the trailers so yea, I am leaving those out of the list.
1. The Fault In Our Stars
Okay? Okay. I know that everyone has probably watched this movie, but if you haven't watched it in a while try it again. It is a nice reminder of how love can heal a heart and a life.
2. Walk Of Shame
Netflix gave this awesome movie 2 stars and a half, but this is a prime example that ratings are wrong and lie! This movie is hilarious; you will be laughing from the beginning all the way to the end.
3. John Tucker Must Die
Whoever has not watched this movie yet needs to get on that. It is really funny and John Tucker is definitely not a bad character to be looking at the whole movie.
4. The Intern
Very cute. Anne Hathaway + Robert De Niro, need I say more?
5. Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo
It is a Spanish movie based on a book by an Italian author. Maybe not the best plot line I have ever encountered but it is touching and Mario Casas can make anybody swoon!
6. Les Choristes
Another international movie. It is about a boarding school for trouble children after WWII in France. It is touching, cute, and funny. Make sure to watch the remake.
7. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
I mean after investing time watching the first three you might as well make a last effort and finish off the last one too.
8. If I Stay
I fell in love with the book so I had to watch the movie too. It is a different kind of movie because you are watching the main character struggle while deciding if she wants to live or die.
9. We Are Your Friends
Another movie that lacks in the field of the story-line, but it is really interesting because it shows you the process DJs go to before even having a track that might give them a name in the world of music. If you are really into music I would totally recommend watching this. Also, crazy good soundtrack.
10. RED
If you ask me there is nothing more romantic than getting kidnapped by the guy you have been talking on the phone with once every month while CIA agents try to kill you, but actually, this is a pretty funny movie.
11. A Cinderella Story
HILARY DUFF AND CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY. Yes, I think I have made my point.
12. 13 Going On 30
So cute and a call to remember what are the truly important things in life.
13. A Walk To Remember
Crying face emoji x 100.
14. The Intouchables
Another French movie that will make you laugh and cry and laugh and will leave your heart with a warm fuzzy feeling for days.
15. 22 Jump Street
One of my favorite movies, I just had to put it here and if you want more info about it feel free to check out my article on it!
16. The Proposal
The characters in this movie are hilarious and Ramon makes me almost pee my pants laughing. It makes me wonder if I will ever have to do something like that to stay in the US.. hmmm. Just kidding US government, I would never ever do that promise.
17. All of the Step Up movies
Whoever doesn't like dancing is lying about it and needs to watch them all. I’ll give you my ranking of the movies: 5, 1, 3, 2, 4.
And as a bonus these are some movies we all should be really excited about that are coming out this year!
1. Finding Dory
2. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
3. Captain America Civil War
4. Suicide Squad
5. Toy Story 4
6. Kung Fu Panda 3
7. The 5th Wave
PS: Read the books!!
