what "The office" has to offer

When people ask me what they should watch on Netflix, I always reply with "The Office." This American sitcom has so much to offer. It's clever jokes and hilarious twists keep you wanting to watch more. The timeless content has universal humor that the whole family can enjoy. "The Office" is a relatable comedy for anyone looking to unwind and destress.

This show focuses on a branch of a paper supply company called Dunder Mifflin. Regional manager, Micheal Scott, and the employees are starring in a documentary about the modern working office. However, the personalities of the branch and the comedic style of the show make it hard not to get invested. The creators have introduced interesting twists on universal characters to create unforgettable personalities. These characters suck the watcher in and form a connection with the audience. The show is the perfect amount of realness while inserting an emotional romance into a comedy. This gives an every-genre-in-one feel that never gets boring. Almost every episode has an unforgettable moment that propels the story forward leaving the audience wanting more.

This creates timeless, family-friendly content that is perfect for watching by yourself or with friends.

If you don't trust me, trust America. "The Office" has won over 45 Emmy awards among those, outstanding comedy series in 2006, 2009, and 2010. The sitcom has an 8.8 out of 10 on IMDb with most reviews giving it a 10 out of 10. One review from The AV Club's website says "It's like a long book that you never want to end and are fine with that because you never ever want to leave it." "The Office" has a 9 out of 10 on TV.com and 96 percent of Google users agree that they have a soft spot for the show.

One of "The Office" most liked aspects is the plot. There are so many different, ever-changing plots in the show that the audience is sure to stay engaged. There are separate relationships, love triangles, and feuds that leave you feeling many different emotions at the same time. The real-life situations that the characters go to leave the viewer excited to see what's next. Because the plot is such a big factor in any sitcom, the episodes are best watched chronologically. This isn't a must but it does help with character development. This show is addicting but not so much so that you can't walk away to get some sleep. Among the 9 seasons made, each one comes with their own challenges and laughs that make picking a favorite one almost impossible.

"The Office" is one of the best shows on Netflix. It will always have a special place in my heart. There is no doubt in my mind that this show will continue to influence many more generations with its real-life lessons and universal comedy. Its timeless characters and amazing content will leave you wanting more. There is so much plot packed into every 20-minute episode. This show didn't win so many awards for no reason so stop what you're doing and get watching!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
