Around this time in the semester, life starts getting a little hard for college students. We're all getting a little tired and schools getting to be a little annoying. I'd say I'm not just speaking for myself that we definitely all need Thanksgiving break. Here's what it is really like, for us college students.
1. Piling up all your laundry the week before so that you can bring it home and have your mom do it.
No way I'm going to wash my clothes when my mom can do it in a week. Just hoping I have enough socks and underwear to make it until then...
2. Realizing it's starting to get cold at school but a lot of your winter clothes are still at home.
Wasn't planning on bringing my winter jacket till break, so this will have to do.
3. It isn't worth it to buy groceries the week before you leave so you start eating whatever you can find to survive.
Does anyone have any milk to spare?? Or cereal?
4. Listening to your Professors speak the Friday before you're going home.
Should've just cancelled class in the first place, cause no ones paying attention.
5. Walking out of your last class.
We think were going to do all these activities on Thanksgiving break, but really you just plant yourself on the couch for multiple hours or days.
7. Thinking you're gonna get back in shape at home and doing the exact opposite.
8. Especially on Thanksgiving.
True.
9. Surprising your family cause you're actually expressing how much you've missed them.
10. Realizing Thanksgiving break is a TEASE and finals are next week.
The week goes by way too fast, and before we know it we just have to get back in the swing of things and start studying for finals. But hey at least we got home cooking and our comfy beds for a week.
