17 Things For Your Sunday To-Do List

Everyone seems to dread Sundays! But why? I for one love them! I get it, a long week of classes and early mornings are upon us, but we should still make the best of the last day of the weekend. Sundays are for relaxing, so before you stress about the the week ahead, take some time to unwind.

Hit snooze, and take a couple more hours to get some quality shut eye. Friday night and Saturday night are for going out and having fun but Sunday is for sleeping it off and preparing for a week of early mornings. College students are not getting enough sleep these days. I for one I wake up at 8 every morning and go to sleep at 12 pm, if am lucky. It is not easy to balance school work, a sorority, and a social life but my lack of sleep somehow makes it possible.

Once you feel well rested, use Sunday as a day to be productive. You finally have time to run all the errands you did not have time for during the week. With your busy work schedule, classes, and homework to do Monday-Friday, it is hard to get everything you need to do, done. Saturday is strictly for fun and you need to push your responsibilities aside just for a day. When Sunday comes around, do not think of it as the end to the weekend. Think of it as a day to get your self together. For me, it is the most important day of the week. I mentally and physically prepare myself for my week ahead. So, make a list, or just use mine and use this upcoming Sunday to get everything you need to do, done!

1. Sleep til 12

You deserve a good nights sleep and rest to prepare for another busy week!

2. Get brunch

A quality brunch to start your day is not a bad idea especially when you share it with friends that you love.

3. Go grocery shopping

Stock up of the week and make sure you are getting those veggies!

4. Meal prep for the week

Make some easy healthy dinners ahead of time and store in fridge.

5. Get last minute homework done

Even if it due on Wednesday, get it out of the way! Getting the little assignments off your mind early will help you focus on those major ones.

6. Study for an upcoming test

Start that quizlet today and prepare for that A.

7. Organize class notes

Make sure your desktop isn't cluttered, that is the worst! A clear space offers a clear mind.

9. Go to the gym

Sleeping til 12 gave you some solid energy now go use it for good.

10. Clean your room

No one wants to come from class during the week to a messy room, adding to the list of things you need to do in a short amount of time.

11. Clean your bathroom

While you're on a cleaning high, get your bathroom done too.

12. Do laundry

Freshen your clothes for the week and prepare some killer outfits!

13. Then fold your laundry

Don't leave it in a pile on your floor like you usually do. Get organized.

14. Make dinner

I mean, you have got to do something with all those groceries.

15. Do the dishes

One less thing to worry about!

16. Deep condition your hair

Silky hair for your week ahead will leave you confident to tackle all that life throws your way!

17. Go to sleep without being stressed

You got every done, now get ready for a peaceful night's rest!

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
