Stress comes and goes. You just have to learn how to manage it. And for everyone, it’s something different. Some people work out, some people listen to music, some people write, and some people read.
Some of the common effects that stress has on your body is getting headaches, fatigue, getting chest pains, getting muscle tension or even pain, a change in your sex drive, an upset stomach, or even sleep problems. Though, these effects can lead to other effects to your body. Stress can even change your mood by having anxiety, restlessness, having a lack of motivation or even focus, a feeling of being overwhelmed, irritability and/or anger, or even sadness or depression. Along with your mood, stress can also have an effect on your behavior. How you ask? Here’s why! Stress can make you overreact or underreact, have angry outbursts, lead to drug and/or alcohol abuse, tobacco use, social withdrawal, and even exercising less.
Stress can be easily managed. Regular physical activity, any relaxation techniques, any hobbies, even keeping a sense of humor and talking to family and friends can help you to distress. You just have to know how to manage it correctly and not let stress effect your day to day life.
