What Sneakers are in Style? Celebrities Must-Have Shoes

The age of the high-heel and smart dress shoe have long come to a close. These days, the most famous and well-dressed people on the planet are sticking almost exclusively to sneakers for pretty much every event.

Even at formal events like the Grammies and the Oscars, the red carpet is a sea of Yeezies, Jordans, and Huaraches. While mere mortals like ourselves must be content with lining up around the block for hours in the hopes of copping the latest sneakers, the upper stratosphere of society gets their shoes months before anyone else.

If you're aching to know what sneakers are in style, it's these people you need to look toward. Here are the must-have celebrity shoes of 2019.

What Sneaker Are In Style: Gucci Ace

Google "celebrities wearing sneakers" and chances are you won't be able to get away from images of this iconic piece of footwear. The Gucci Ace sneaker is a cult classic from the Italian fashion house Gucci and has been worn by literally everyone who's anyone in 2019.

Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Migos have all been papped wearing this stylish and understated shoe, making it one of the hottest trend of the year.

Nike Air Huarache

Nike Huaraches seemed to have come from nowhere. From being a somewhat obscure piece of sportswear just a few short months ago, it's now one of the most widely-worn famous people shoes in the world.

Chunky but not as in-your-face as most of the statement sneakers making the rounds, Huaraches have become instant classics. You can hit up the nike air huarache heren section to cop these bad boys for yourself.

Nike SB Dunk Low

2019 is officially the year of the Dunk revival. These imposing sneakers were originally launched all the way back in the 1980s as a basketball shoe, aimed mainly at NBA players.

These days, however, they're the hottest shoes in Hollywood. Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, and Miley Cyrus have all been papped wearing these space boots in recent weeks, and you can cop them at Worthy Shoes.

Saint Laurent Court Classic

The Court Classics are an example of celebrity tennis shoes finally making a hot comeback in 2019. These worn-in, graffiti-strewn shoes are perfect for anyone trying to pull off a grungy, hipster look.

They're definitely more popular with the ladies judging my recent snapshots. Halsey, Lucy Hale, and Rochelle Wiseman have all been clocked bouncing around in these shoes on the streets of LA this year and we can expect to see a lot more of them in the months ahead.

Balenciaga Triple S

There's no denying that the Triple S was one of the most iconic sneakers of 2018. They instantly became an internet meme upon their release, owing to the frenzy that ensued as shoe fanatics around the world tried to cop some for themselves.

That hasn't died down one bit in 2019, with everyone from Rita Ora to Khalid to Marc Jacobs being seen with a pair this year. Long live the Triple S.

gossip girl

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
