I never quite understood the whole "I need a break" thing… how the 8 hours a day working apart is a necessity to remain sane. If you truly need a break, shouldn't you be rethinking what's meant to be?
But when you're with the right one, you should only be wanting more.
When you're miles apart, more attention. While you're falling asleep, a tighter hug. If you're in disagreement, more understanding. And if there should ever be a time when more actually seems less, do what shows the most support.
More trust, more desire, more love.
Because when these "mores" exist, you're showing her how much you care. Showing the extents of your efforts and the strength of your determination to be what she needs.
And let's face the truth... she may be independent, she might act tough, and there's a chance she even wears her scars with pride, but there's a small part inside that needs the "mores."
Without showing those, you're teaching her to live without you. Teaching her that breaks are okay, or that simply taping what should be molded back together is in option.
Rather, be what she needs.
Be more, show more, love more.
