What To Do Now That Finals Are Over

It was a rough week, time to unwind with a few fun activities to fill your time.

So, after a solid week of pretty much non-stop studying, endless coffee consumption, eating at 1AM, and doing it over again each day, we are finished. But now, I'm just sitting in my room wondering what I'm supposed to do now that it's over. I have no school work or exams to study for, so what do I do?

1. Sleep (lots of it too)

2. Clean my room

3. Go for a run

4. Give up on the run after 1 mile

5. Reward myself with ice cream

6. Binge watch "Criminal Minds"

7. Somebody say chicken nuggets?

8. Cut back on coffee consumption

9. Make s'mores

10. Burn your school work for the fire

11. But not the organic chem notes, I need those

12. Online shop

13. But don't actually buy anything, just browse

14. Learn to play the harmonica

15. Start a garage band

16. Play at local coffee shops

17. Go on a world tour

18. Meet other famous people

19. Sign an autograph for Beyonce and Blue Ivy

20. Write a song for Taylor Swift

21. Write a memoir of the most epic Christmas break ever

22. Make millions

23. Go back to school

24. Take finals for second semester

25. Repeat process

And that is how you spend your breaks after finals week. It's simple enough, right?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
