Love yourself. Love your body. Love your mind. Love your soul. Never continuously think negative thoughts about yourself (they will come occasionally, we are not perfect). Never feel like you need to change because you feel as though people are looking down on you or judging the way you look. Be just the way you are without worries because you are wonderful. Your body is a good body.
If you want to change something about yourself, it needs to be genuine. Listen to what your body is telling you. If it doesn't like/react well to a certain type of food, don't eat it. If it feels the need to move and exercise, move and exercise. If your body needs rest, rest for as long as you need.
I was reading Yoga Girl by Rachel Brathen a couple of days ago and she was talking about all of this and mentioned, "true, lasting, effortless change comes from taking action from a place we love. From the heart. Do you think your heart gives a damn about what you look like in a bikini?" And you know what? She is right. Be healthy for the sole reason that you love your body. You want to make it a place that is well-functioning, happy and full of peace without judgment. The way you look in a bikini doesn't matter when you appreciate your body properly.
Know yourself well. Sometimes we need that piece of chocolate, you know? Eat that chocolate without one regret because it can fill your soul up with joy! On the other hand, sometimes our body will need some greens. And of course, eat those greens because you know it will make your heart smile! Be a healthy human being that loves their body and gives it nourishment when it's needed. When you begin to give your body what it needs, when you begin to listen to it, you will see change. A change in your soul, your mind and maybe even outwardly. What matters, though, is that your inside is healthy. Comparing is pointless, everyone's built differently. Be thankful for the skin that was given to you, now go and love yourself completely.
Walk Blessed,
Ash
