I won’t lie and say this idea was all my own. I was completely and totally inspired by another Odyssey article that asked women what they liked most about men. I put my own little twist and set out to find answers to one question: “If you could say anything to women, what would it be?”

I only asked men, and I am keeping everything anonymous besides the answers that were provided. There are going to be some crude answers I didn’t censor unless it was an actual swear word.

To get a good data set, I asked men that I knew on Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram to volunteer answers and also went to the anonymous app Whisper (which produced a lot more answers). Without further ado, here are the answers I received:

1. I’m glad God created women. They are beautiful and magical.
2. Suck, don’t blow.
3. If you make everything a scandal, then nothing is. Stop overreacting. You're devaluing your cause.
4. Don't look the other way if things get tough. If you expect to be treated as an equal in a relationship, you must take an equal part in making it work.
5. You are not alone and there will always be someone there for you.
6. I’m sorry society has prioritized male gratification over your comfort and safety...some men do want to change, but they have a lot of deprogramming that needs to be done. Be patient.
7. Submit.
8. Don’t play games. If he’s ready to settle down, you playing games is going to ruin whatever you have and ruin that man for another.
9. Shut up and blow me already.
10. Thank you.
11. You are beautiful no matter what size, shape, or color.
12. You look gorgeous.
13. You’re much better than society makes you feel.
14. You’re underrated but you have my respect.
15. Worry less about your appearance and more about your personality.
16. Why are you so mean to other women?
17. Why do you wear basically no clothes, then walk around in below freezing weather?
18. You can do great things if you believe in yourself and work hard. You don’t need a man to be great.
19. Show more skin!
20. Be mine forever.
21. Always remember that no matter what you are you and you are awesome.
22. Love yourself because everyone thinks there’s a standard of beauty.
23. Get on your knees.
24. They look like goddesses.
25. Stop being so flaky.
26. We are not above you, but equal on all planes.
27. Give it up more.
28. Don’t let any guy treat you badly because there’s a guy out there that would do anything to make you happy.
29. Wanna cuddle?
30. Women are flawed like men. None of you are better or worse. Get your act together and stop being cliquey hypocrites. It takes both sides to understand the problems and fix them.
31. You’re all beautiful and strong and in my eyes are already above men.
32. Fight for what’s yours...it seems men are the enemy nowadays but not all are and not all have been.
33. You’re stronger than we are in ways we can’t even compete. I’m in awe of you.
34. Women are superior.
35. Focus more on your personality and your spirituality. Beauty is nice, but it decays.
36. There are still good men out there. You just have to get past the boys.
37. You’re beautiful, sexy people.
38. Don’t overcomplicate things.
39. You are beautiful.
40. I’m not hitting on you. It’s just who I am.
41. I’m sorry for what our current administration is doing to you.
42. Be more confident. There are way too many beautiful women out there that think they are ugly, fat, or unappealing in some way.
43. I hope you have a better day today than you did yesterday.
44. Knees.
45. Let’s chill.
46. How you doin’?
47. We need you more than you need us.
48. It’s okay to be you. It doesn’t need to be at the expense of mankind. (Don’t take revenge. I had to ask for an elaboration.)
49. If you ask us if you look fat in something, we’ll always answer ‘no.’ We’re not falling into that trap!
50. Men have feelings, too, you know.
51. Stop forgiving men for treating you like s**t!
52. Stop being entitled.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
