Everything a girl can dream of.

The perfect dress, shoes, hair, makeup, bridesmaids, ring, venue, food, decor, and of course the perfect man, is everything a girl can dream of. Girls begin to plan their wedding at the age of 5, and as we grow up we just keep fantasizing about the most perfect day until it gets here. Personally I can not stop thinking about my dream wedding because I know I am with the man I want to marry, and I constantly bug him about it. Now girls if you're like me, here are a few thoughts I have when I attend weddings.

1. The ceremony

Now if you're from a religious family, like i am, the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding because thats when you commit yourself to your partner for the rest of your life and it has to be perfect. When I sit through a wedding ceremony I think about the entire arrangement, how the alter will look, who the officiating the wedding, and where my bridesmaids will stand. I dream about who will be my maid of honor and my bridesmaids, and of course what would I say in my vows to show how much I love my future husband. This part literally has to be a fairytale wedding, because this is when you express and show the world how perfect the bride and groom are meant for each other.

2. The dress

THE DRESS IS EVERYTHING! IF A BRIDE DOES NOT FEEL LIKE A PRINCESS/QUEEN IN THE DRESS THEN DO NOT BUY SAID DRESS. THE DRESS IS WHAT BRINGS EVERYTHING TOGETHER, IT MAKES A BRIDE A BRIDE. THE DRESS HAS NO LIMIT, HAPPINESS HAS NO LIMIT. THE LIMIT DOES NOT EXISIT ON A BRIDE'S DREAM DRESS.

3. The reception

ITS OFFICIAL YOU ARE NOW MARRIED TO SOMEONE, NOW IT'S TIME TO PARTY.You have to have the perfect fairy tale wedding ceremony, so now have the perfect fair tale wedding reception. The entrance has to be grand because its the first time the world will see the husband and wife. Back to picking bridesmaids, you have to pick them carefully because who knows who will embarrass you in their toast. Now my husband can pick his groomsman but obviously i would have to approve because IT'S MY DAY. Besides the people in the wedding, you have to thing about the perfect food, decorations, dinner entertainment and party music. It would magical if Jason Mraz just came to my wedding and sing "Lucky." If only....

4. The perfect guy

Yes the dress is everything, but who cares if you found the most perfect dress in the world,if you don't have the perfect guy to get married to. Finding the perfect guy is hard. Now ladies, you will date jerks, you will hate yourself for dating them. You have to pick through a punch of thorns until you find the perfect guy. What I do on a first date with someone is picture marrying them. Yes, I know its a bit crazy, but If i can't see myself marrying them in the future then whats the point of continuing on the relationship. I know I have found the perfect guy, he always tells me that I'm crazy for wanting to marry him after dating for 6 months, but when you know you've found the one, why wait? Now that doesn't mean to get married right away, but it doesn't hurt to act like a married couple like I do with my boyfriend for a couple years, just to make sure you found the perfect guy. Don't be afraid to follow your heart ladies! Never settle and keep searching for the perfect one, and once you do, never let him go.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
