What To Look Forward To On The Season 6 Premier Of 'Once Upon A Time'

Okay OUAT fans, It is officially here, the season 6 premier of "Once Upon a Time" begins this Sunday. It's been a long time coming, and after ending season 5 with the death of Robin Hood, I am anxious to begin this new season so I can know what the heck is going on. Because let me tell ya, season 5 was too crazy for me. With Emma being the dark one half of the time, then Hook being "dead" for the rest, my emotions were just spent. Of course, nothing is ever calm in Storybrooke, so I'm certain this season will present its own challenges, but hopefully not on the scale of last season. With the premier coming in less than a week, I thought I would share some storylines that I'm interested to see play out.

I am very excited to see the relationship between Hook and Emma strengthen over the course of this season. Emma, in particular, has gone through many trials in her life, especially concerning her love life, and it's time for the girl to have a relationship that isn't in mortal danger. With Hook finally returning to Storybrooke and Emma not being the dark one, it is the perfect time for them to both build a great relationship. I have been a shipper of theirs since season 3, so I would love to see season 6 have fewer challenges for Captain Swan.

I am also interested to see how Regina and Zelena will continue to grow as sisters. Throughout the second half of season 5, it was clear that Zelena and Regina became closer and were beginning to accept their differences. Even though they have each had a rocky past, it seems like they are both finally getting past it. Now that Regina is going through some major heartbreak, she is going to need her sister more than ever. I have really enjoyed Zelena's growth so far in the show, and it was a little similar to Regina's. Zelena had her own personal issues, especially concerning jealousy and insecurities about "not feeling wanted", but has really worked towards eliminating these problems and becoming a true hero. So I am really looking forward to seeing the two of them grow closer as sisters.

This last point concerns Regina, and Regina alone. Will she ever get her happy ending? How will she emotionally be at the start of this season? Maybe her happy ending doesn't involve having a love interest? "Once Upon a Time" is completely centered around the concept of people finding their happy endings, but yet why hasn't Regina found hers? It's like she can never catch a break. My heart broke for her when Robin Hood died. Now not only is good Regina walking around but evil Regina as well and I am very interested to see how that plays out. Overall, I think that Regina will face the most challenges - physically and emotionally - this season. I really, truly, hope that she finds her happy ending because man she deserves it.

All in all, I am VERY excited to see what the "Once Upon a Time" premier has in store on Sunday. It should be a great season!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
