Being in a sorority has its ups and downs, but one of the best parts are the memories you make. We all assume it's always the initiation rituals or the preparation for recruitment or the philanthropy events, but some of the best are when you live in house with your sisters. Here are 14 things that happen when you live with your sorority sisters.

1. The Storytelling

You talk about boys, embarrassing email domains, the good deals you found at Victoria's Secret, and all the awkward in-betweens.

2. Helping each other get ready for Chapter

Need an opinion on if what you're wearing is professional enough or looks clean? Your roommates got you.

3. The sharing of the clothes

Going out and can't find the perfect shirt, skirt, pants, shoes, etc? You have at least 3 other closets to pick through, and they'll tell you if it looks good. Those are some of the best times, having 5 other people weighing in on what you should wear.

4. All the crafting, all the time.

The room's decorated in the cutest letters and quotes, and you're already planning out new ones to make.

5. The inside jokes

Something embarrassing happen to one of your roommates? It becomes the best joke of the century and typically an inside joke.

6. The midnight food runs

When you have that craving for ice cream or french fries, one or all of your roommates probably do as well, and it tends to lead to some interesting adventures.

7. Personal space begins to not mean anything anymore.

Sharing a room with one to five other girls? Yeah, personal space becomes a distant memory.

8. All the guy advice

When you really need to vent or cry about how stupid a guy is, everyone's there to help boost you up and tear him down for your sake.

9. Learning to sleep through (almost) anything

Chances are, not all of you have that same 9 am class, so you kinda learn to sleep through other people's alarms.

10. The debating of "The Bachelor"

You talk about it for hours, and the topic never gets old, even if it results in some heated debates.

11. TMI doesn't mean a thing anymore

You're living together and are sisters, nothing is a secret between you and your roommates anymore.

12. The losing track of time.

It's midnight and you're still laughing about someone's snapchat or debating what to wear so that you can catch that cute guy's attention or debating the theory of mermaids and you don't care.

13. No one judges how much food you eat

Mostly because we all eat a lot so there is no judgement to be had.

14. Learning everyone's little habits

You learn to ignore or join in on the singing in the shower.

15. You have a support system

Your sorority sisters are there to pick you up when you're down and support you through the hard stuff. They're always there for you.

Sisters, can't live without them, wouldn't live without them, because you'd miss the best memories.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
