The character who taught us the most.

What We Learned From Monica Geller
Hardly Serious

We love when we turn on the TV and find the show that makes us laugh the loudest is on. "Friends" is one of the most popular shows at the time and is guaranteed to make you laugh every second of it. It is impossible to not fall in love with the characters and their stories. The character I believe deserves the most credit for the lessons she teaches us every episode, and for being flat out amazing, is Monica Geller.

So, Monica, thanks for showing us all:

1. That doing things the right way is the best way.

2. That always having a plan is the best way to live your life.

3. That food truly is one of the best things in the world.

4. That being who you are is more important than what people have to say about you.

5. And it is OK to let people down in order to be yourself.

6. That family always comes first.

7. That it is OK to be the one to know everything.

8. But also accept that we cannot be right every single time.

9. That you should always be confident in yourself and your abilities.

10. And that a little competition never hurt anyone.

11. That it is important to be the best friend you can be.

12. That every girl can be a hopeless romantic at times.

13. And that we all get our heart broken at some point.

14. And most importantly, that we are all meant for someone.

15. Even if it is who we least expected.

Thank you, Monica Geller, for being the best role model there is!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
