What Kind of Black Friday Shopper Are You?

If you go out on Black Friday to do your holiday shopping chances are you've seen each of these people or you are one of these people. Which Black Friday shopper are you?

1. The Planner

The planner is the person who has known exactly what they want to buy and where they want to buy it since October. They love to be organized and usually start their shopping around midnight on Thursday. They will probably start at stores like Walmart to get as many presents and deals as they can out of the way. The planner is also the person who brings ads to the store and asks to see a manager if the advertised price is even a few dollars different than the in-store price. But in the end they get what they came for and they spend exactly what they wanted.

2. The Thanksgiving Shopper

The Thanksgiving shoppers are those who start their shopping on Thanksgiving day. They go to the stores that have been open since 3pm on Thursday and they are usually done shopping before Friday even starts. These people don't care if they even get a Thanksgiving meal. The deals are top priority today.

3. The "You're crazy for going out there" Shopper

These people do not like the idea of Black Friday at all. Thy might go out to one store on Friday around dinner time or whenever they think the least amount of people will be out. They don't like confrontation and hate the idea of being in a roudy group of people at such late hours. These people are the ones who tell you you're crazy for going out on Black Friday and that they worry for your safety. (Let's be real, they should probably be scared for your well being.)

4. The Self-Shopper

This person spends all of Black Friday going to stores they love and buying things all for themselves. They go only to those stores that they already know they like. You can find them around the mall with their hands full of clothes bags or shoe bags. But hey, there's nothing wrong with buying things for yourself. Treat Yo self!

5. The "Rag Doll"

This poor person gets the name "rag doll" because they are pulled around basically all day. This person can be either the boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife, maybe even the friend you forced to come with you so you wouldn't be alone. These people jump store to store, following their significant other around, carrying the bags and pushing the cart. I give this person some major props for dealing with this all day long. You are the real MVP and don't worry you'l get to sleep eventually. Just maybe not until Saturday..

6. The angry shopper

Don't get in this persons way. They know what they came here to get and if you're in the way of that they will destroy you. We've all seen these people and we all know we've been this person at least once. If there is only one X-box left and its between you and the angry shopper, I suggest playing dead, that way they don't hurt you... Just let them be crazy somewhere else. Whatever their reasoning they probably needed the X-box more than you did anyway.

7. The last minute shopper

The Last Minute shopper is the person who just wings it. They go to the stores around midnight and stay out until around 4 or 5 am. They had no plans and yet they still get everything done that they needed. Who says you have to plan the whole night? Just shop and get it done with. Now there's no more Christmas shopping to do. Now you can relax.

8. The absentee

You ate too much on Thursday and you have been in a food coma for so long that you just realized it's Saturday. Don't worry, there's still cyber Monday.

So, What kind of Black Friday Shopper are you?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
