What Just Happened in the World of Grey's Anatomy?

The premiere had me on edge from the very beginning.

Since Monday, I had been counting down the hours until Grey's Anatomy came back on for its 13th season. The anticipation was real and I could not wait to see what happened with Karev and Deluca. Of course, before all of the drama hit, we had to see the beautiful wedding reception of Amelia and Owen, a wedding that none of us saw coming to say the least. Everything was going well until Meredith received a call that Deluca had been seriously injured and she didn’t know why. That is when all hell broke loose for every surgeon in Seattle Grace.

Here are some thoughts I had while watching the premiere:

- Who would’ve known that Karev beat up Deluca that much…. In the season finale, we only saw 1 punch!

- Is Deluca really about to die during the first 5 minutes of the premiere…really?

- WHY IS MEREDITH COVERING FOR ALEX….UGH!

(Japril makes an entrance)- THE CHILDS NAME IS HARRIET KEPNER-AVERY……HARRIET??

- Why does Meredith play hard to get with Griggs? I think they work really well together and keeps Meredith on her toes all while having fun.

- Woah, I can’t believe Meredith just told on Karev, YOU GO GIRL!

- How is Maggie just going to turn around this whole situation and point the blame on Meredith?? With a statement like "were you really just going to lie to everyone about what happened?”

- What happened to the wedding? I really wanted to see Owen and Amelia prance off into the Sunset but then again it is Grey's Anatomy so there is probably going to be drama about that next episode.

- I can’t believe I just watched Karev do the walk of shame through the whole hospital in handcuffs.

- Meredith’s pep talk at the jail cell with Karev was a true inspiration, she really is a great friend to have. Something she said that really stuck out to me was: “We are Grown-ups, we can’t run, we have to face what we have done.”

Lastly but surely not least, Meredith looks absolutely stunning in this season premiere. She had a glow to her that I have never seen before, you would have never guessed that she has been a part of this show since the beginning. You rock Meredith!

Until next episode,

It’s always a great day to save lives people, let’s make it a great one!

Sincerely,

A Grey's Anatomy Super Fan

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
