You know that feeling you get when you want to read something but no matter how hard you try, you just can't? It's a horrible plague known as reader's block (yes, reader's block), and you or a friend or a loved one may be currently suffering from it.
These are our stories.
1. When you have a book (or six) on your bookshelf that you really want to read but just...can't.
Everything.
2. But then you go on Amazon and order six more books.
Because you have zero impulse control.
3. Six more books...that you're not going to read.
Six? Seriously?
4. Because you have reader's block.
It's fine; you're just losing control of your life.
5. Your friends won't stop recommending books and series that sound really amazing.
Not. Helping.
6. Your to-read list on Goodreads is getting alarmingly long.
Reading is supposed to be fun, not overwhelming.
7. "If you want to read, just read. I don't get what the problem is."
Nobody understands you.
8. Feeling like a fraud whenever you tell people that you love to read.
It's not technically a lie...is it?
9. Assigned reading for class is even worse.
I can't even read the books I want to read - how am I supposed to read this?
10. Trying to remember the last time you read a book.
You can't, can you?
11. The feeling you get when the spell breaks and your reader's block finally (finally!) ends.
Reading...what a beautiful, wonderful thing.
