Looking for a date for next weekend on your campus? Look no further than the School of Education. Not only are these future teachers ridiculously attractive (no bias here, at all) but they will also turn out to be some of the funnest people you ever meet! Before you ask her out, however, be sure to look over this list to learn what it's like to date an Education major.

1. You will be constantly hearing about the funny things the kids they babysit or student teach did that day.

Soon you'll know the kids' names and personalities by heart.

2. Birthday shopping is easy.

Stickers, pens, and post-it notes are the way to this girl's heart.

3. Prepare to always be second to Pinterest.

You'll find yourself competing for her attention with this app frequently, but can you blame her? You don't come with endless ideas for bulletin boards!

4. If you ever call her job easy because she gets the summers off...

Hit the road!

5. Study sessions will keep things interesting.

While you're going through flashcards, she'll probably be cutting out paper or finding unique supplies for tomorrow's lesson.

6. You may experience the "teacher voice."

If you make her mad, she might just give you that attitude that all students fear.

7. Finding time to hang out may become difficult.

Once she starts student teaching, her time will be consumed by a full-time commitment without pay and lesson preparations after hours.

8. You'll learn to love her for how passionate she is about a job she hasn't even been hired for yet.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
