Being a pastor's kid is hard sometimes because it comes with a lot of assumptions. Here's some of what it's like to be a PK:
1. "You're a Pastor's kid? A pastor's Daughter? You must be so rebellious!"
Unless you call knowing the veggie tales theme song by heart, then actually no.
2. Your parents constantly tell you that you're an example to other kids because your dad's the pastor.
3. Having a very limited knowledge of common cartoons or movies because you weren't allowed to watch them (for me it was Harry Potter and Spongebob).
4. VeggieTales, Larry Boy, and the Bible Man being your favorite shows.
5. Being Homeschooled for at least one year.
6. Knowing all the answers to Sunday school questions because you talk about them at home.
7. Beating everyone at Bible Relay Race (finding the verse the quickest in the Bible).
8. Playing upward sports.
9. Jamming out to bible songs in the car.
10. Having Biblical debates for fun.
Being a Pastor's kid may be hard sometimes but I wouldn't change it for anything. Not only has it been fun but it also helps me to grow as a Christian.
