Cleveland sports fans are the true fans!

What It's Like Being a Cleveland Cavaliers Fan

Being a Cleveland sports fan is a true testament to a person's loyalty to their city. In the past year, this loyalty has finally paid off with the Cavs winning the NBA title and the Indians making it to the World Series. Now with the Cavs making it to the NBA Finals for the third time, all the feels are coming back to Cleveland sports fans everywhere. Here are a few things that happen when you're a Cleveland sports fan.

1. "The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead" will forever be a source of pride (and a source of many jokes).

When no one had hope that the Cavs could come back from a 3-1 deficit, the loyal fans from Cleveland never gave up hope. We will never let go of the fact that the Cavs came back to win the title when no one else believed it was possible to make such history.

2. Lebron James is The King, and this will never change.

For Cleveland, Lebron James has always been the King of the city. Albeit he took a quick hiatus to play for the Miami Heat, he did not fail to return! Watch out Warriors, the King is coming for you!

3. When the Cavs play, especially in the playoffs, it is a whole ordeal.

It takes a full day of mental preparation (and most likely food preparation) to watch the best team in the NBA play. And during the game, we get very invested and even scream at the TV when someone misses an easy shot. I mean we can coach the team too, right?

4. We get utterly offended when someone criticizes our city.

During the NBA finals season, some people find it enticing to criticize the great city we call home. When we say we get offended, we mean it. Cleveland is one of the best cities we know and houses the one and only Cleveland Cavaliers. How could someone in their right mind possibly criticize Cleveland? Please, let us know.

5. When the Cavs win, it is a celebration each and every time.

Watching the Cavs win is just about the best thing. It is right up there with watching our kids win the championship on their baseball team. We live to watch "the boys" win against any team, but we especially love to watch them crush the Golden State Warriors. There is something extra special about watching them beat our biggest rivals.

6. The day that the Cavs won the NBA title in 2016 is like a national holiday in Cleveland.

Although we can't have a parade which one million people show up to like in 2016, we can still celebrate! The Cavs winning the title was the day that the drought was broken in Cleveland. This is a day we will never, ever forget!

Although some people may call Cleveland the mistake on the lake, Cleveland sports fans know that this is not the case! Thank you to the Cavs for bringing the city together as one to celebrate the team who made a city's dream come true. We are, and forever will be, Cleveland proud and proud supporters of Believeland!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
