What It Means To Support Pittsburgh Sports

There are about 2.4 million people living in the greater Pittsburgh area. Of those people many of them have one thing in common, they are fans of Pittsburgh sports. Whether you are at PNC Park watching the Pirates, Heinz Field watching the Steelers or PPG Paints Arena watching the Penguins play, it's an experience you will never forget. The joy and excitement that Pittsburgh sports spectators share is indescribable, but breathtaking. The fans are crazy, but coming from the city of champions, it is a right of passage. No matter how hard you try, you fall in love more and more with the teams and the city as you watch. Not only are Pittsburgh teams enjoyable to watch, they have many championships between the three teams. The Steelers lead the NFL with 6 super bowl wins, the Pirates have 5 world series titles and the Penguins are four-time Stanley Cup champions. Not only are there die-hard Pittsburgh fans in the surrounding area, there are fans all over the world. No matter where you go, if you mention Pittsburgh, there is someone who is from there or supports one of the teams. For many it is a family legacy to support Pittsburgh sports teams and something that generations can bond over together. Being from Pittsburgh and supporting its professional sports teams is an honor and a privilege. Here we go!
