What It Feels Like To Be Done With Exams

First off Congrats on making it another year!!!! No matter how many finals you had, the week definitely felt stressful just from the people around you. No more looking at kids walking around with a backpack so big you start to wonder whats in there. No more seeing the same kid sitting in the library all week because lets be honest more time is spent there than in your actual room. No more cumulative exams to stress about and crappy cafe food.

When finals are done you no longer have to dress like a scrub. It’s hard enough studying for hours to pass that chemistry exam but then also remembering when was the list time you changed your shirt...forget it. Exam week is that time when you can bum around in anything you want and nobody's going to ask if your ok. Now it’s time to clean it up….seriously shower and maybe put something other than sweats on for the day just to make it clear to others that you can think clearly again. When exam week is over you can now do all the things you wish you could do during that week. Watch that Netflix series because you have all the time in the world. Hangout with your friends for the whole day because what else are you going to do? Ok you could SLEEP yes yes yes that beautiful thing that everyone needs a lot of and has surely been deprived of during exam week. When exams are over your mood instantly gets better and everyone including you is grateful for that.

After exams are done it's time to go home and enjoy some time with the family eat those homemade meals you've been craving all semester. Being done with exams you get to plan out your day how you want it. No more classes and planning time to study, eat, and go to the gym.

As nice as it is to be done with the semester you'll always miss eating meals with your friends and procrastinating with them. You'll miss the weekends filled with events and sports games but thanks to technology you'll always be able to stay in contact with your friends. Break will fly by and soon enough you'll be back at school knee deep in homework assignments.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
