Throughout the years a family tradition has been to go around the table and everyone will share one thing they're thankful for during the present year. I have been blessed with so many things I can't pick just one.
I'm thankful for my friends and family back home
They keep me grounded and give me such unconditional love and support beyond belief. They know what I'm capable of and always push me to be the best I can be.
I'm thankful for my new friends I've made at college
They make realize new ways of thinking and always open my mind to new possibilities. They help when I feel stressed and always push me to have fun and live everyday like it's my last.
I'm thankful that I'm blessed with such great opportunities
Whether that be the university I am attending or just the chance to witness things some others may not get the chance to. I have so many resources around me and so many places to explore I'm never bored.
I'm thankful for my health
I know I'm blessed with the fact I am alive and breathing but I know some are not as fortunate. Realizing not to take that for granted is something I have truly realized this year.
This Thanksgiving break take time to sit back and realize what you're truly grateful for beyond superficial things.
Psalm 95:2-3
Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods
