6 Tips And Tricks For If You're Feeling "Ugly"

Have you ever felt so ugly, you just woke up and felt like you can't stand seeing yourself in the mirror?

Well, that's why I'm here.

You might think that you're ugly, but you aren't, you're so beautiful! Every girl is beautiful in her own way. I'm feeling so sick of girls telling everyone that they're ugly that I decided to help you all out.

Under here I'm giving six tips and tricks to help you out of this feeling. I assure you that you'll feel pretty after these tips.

1. Don't be lazy, be active.

I know you didn't want to hear this, but these are facts, You will feel much prettier after you have been active. Go and run an hour or go get your bike or go for a walk. Don't sit on the couch eating chocolate bars. Then, you will have the thoughts that you are too fat. You can be lazy on Sundays or after you have worked or went to school, then it's totally OK to be sitting on the couch eating your favorite chips or snacks. But when you are feeling ugly, then it's better to do something to make you think positive like that you are being so active. So just go out for a walk.

2. Take a hot/cold shower.

When you're feeling ugly you could take a shower, hot or cold, that's your own choice. I personally feel much better after I have washed myself with a good smelling soap and washed my hair with a great shampoo. You can also use a scrub to make your skin softer or you can shave your legs. Nothing goes above fresh shaved legs. You feel so much prettier after that. And DON'T FORGET the body lotion. You're gonna smell so nice after this, and this will help boost your self esteem.

3. Take care of your face.

When you're feeling ugly, it's mostly about your body or your face. Your face is something that a lot of strangers are seeing, resulting in you feeling less sure about yourself. That's why if you're feeling ugly you can take care of your face. You will feel so much better. First, use a mask to relax your skin. You can use all sorts of masks like: charcoal masks, bubble masks, moisturizing masks, clay masks, etc. There are so many masks you can use, and each one has its own specialty. Further, you can pluck your eyebrows, hydrate your face or put a little bit of make up on.

4. Take care of your body.

Most people are feeling ugly because of their body, but no one should be ashamed of their body. Put on some clothes that look very nice or you feel very comfortable in. You will see that you are feeling a lot better now. Put on that dress you like seeing yourself in.

5. Be healthy,

When you're feeling ugly, you may drink and eat unhealthy items. But, that's not what you need to do. Go and take some time to make a healthy lunch or breakfast. Go and make those healthy pancakes or fruit salad. But, when you eat healthily, you have to drink healthily too. It's important to drink two liters of water per day, and you can put some fruit in it to make it fresh. Or drink some fresh orange juice. It will make you feel so much more energetic.

6. Be positive.

Even if you're feeling so ugly, you should stand in front of the mirror and say positive things. Make some post-its and write some positive things about yourself on them. Don't be afraid, just love yourself. Read the post-its out loud, and make sure you are believing this. Because only with believing it, you will feel better.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
