Oh, how I miss the old cartoon shows. Whether they came from Disney, Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network, kids today will NEVER understand! We had shows that entertained and had substance. I understand that times change, and people move on from projects. However, I would like to say that today's generation of cartoons stink! They're dull and all the same. Literally, all we have left is "Sponge Bob."

I know us Gen Y kids are growing up and pushing 25, but come on! We still like our early 2000 shows! So, I propose that we bring back the cartoons! BUT have them grow up. Have them face real life situations. The gang from the "Proud Family" can be college students. The kids from "Hey Arnold" can be in high school. Scooby Doo and the Crew can be real detectives and stop criminals. So with the help of Google, I took it upon myself to put the idea into action. This is what I came up with.

We all remember learning with this wacky school teacher and her super smart kids!

Who didn't love Penny and her friends getting into all types of trouble?

I didn't particularly care for Ed, Edd and Eddy, but it's a classic!

We all wished for fairy godparents, I know I did! Little Timmy Turner is not so little anymore. And neither is Poof!

Recess never looked so fun and stressful at the same time. For a bunch of fourth graders, they had a hard life. But TJ kept them together.

Now, if you're not familiar with this crew — you're too young!

And there you have it, folks. Maybe one day, I can turn the TV on and see my childhood come back to life! We can't help the big kid that's still in us.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
