From the start of November through the end of the year, seems to be a peak time for “wants."
It’s wanting the best deals on Black Friday.
It’s wanting to cook the perfect Thanksgiving dinner.
It’s relatives asking you what you want to do with your life or where you want to go.
It’s people asking you what you want for Christmas.
Winter also brings a season of hope.
Hoping for snow.
Hoping relatives don’t overstay their welcome.
Hoping to see family.
Hoping to find parking at the shopping mall.
The year 2017 has not been easy for many of us, but it’s the aftermath of the Hurricane and this holiday season that’s reminded me of what I’m thankful for...
I’m thankful for my loving family…
I’m thankful for supportive friends…
And I’m thankful for my education…
No hurricane, law, or person can take these things away from me, and that’s what I cherish most as we near the end of this year. Through all the hardship 2017 brought, I wouldn’t change a thing.
