I’ve stayed up late, without any sleep at all.
I’ve shampooed my hair and watched clumps fall.
The books I carry weight a ton,
I thought college was supposed to be “fun.”
If you miss three classes you’re a failure,
Well there goes my nursing major.
In college there are no games,
Professors don’t care about your name.
Your motivation starts to drain,
Along with your mushed up brain.
I find that I can fall asleep quick,
All this school work makes me sick.
I thought high school was a drag,
Till I got to college and became a crab.
I hate to go out when I’m not at school,
Because I’d rather be sleeping to regain fuel.
I don’t have time to watch my shows,
Damn, college blows.
I wish I could say college was my thing,
But I’d rather wear Hugh Heffner’s ring.
But since I’m forced to be grown,
I’ll have to deal with college on my own.
In four years, I wonder where I’ll be,
What has college done to me?
