For those of you who all know and love the "Fifty Shades" Trilogy, you know "Fifty Shades Darker" was released just in time for Valentine's Day this year. Some people grabbed their lovers while others enjoyed a girls' night out frothing over the much adored Jamie Dornan...and Dakota Johnson. For the men who didn't participate and wondered what erotic moves we learned from this movie, this is for YOU!

Let's start with the background of the series. "Fifty Shades of Grey" is the first of the trilogy. It starts off with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) in his office discussing his business for her best friend Kate. Anastasia and Christian become involved with each other in an erotic way which leads people to the assumption that this series is "porn" or "trash." Surprise surprise, IT HAS A STORYLINE! Christian and Anastasia's relationship deepens throughout the trilogy so we can follow their journey.

Christian lived a troubled life as a child. His mom wasn't necessarily the best role model and he resents her for that. His way to get through the trauma is by bringing in submissives and taking them to the Red Room of Pain. However, Anastasia isn't a fan. Christian loves Anastasia and he wants more than the submissive relationship. In order to establish that, he must change his ways of life and for her he is willing to do what it takes.

This brings us to "Fifty Shades Darker." Christian buy's all of Anastasia's photographs from her friend's art show. The lesson from this is that sometimes it takes a grand gesture to let us know you're ready. He then asks her out to dinner to discuss their contract and the new rules of that contract. Communication is key. That's what gets the ball rolling. They then continue their relationship as a normal couple would. He buys her gifts, they cuddle and cook dinner. Nothing extravagant. Small gestures sometimes mean more than the big ones.

What I'm saying is this: If there's anything to learn from "Fifty Shades Darker," it's that change is possible. You don't have to change your entire being. You don't have to go out of your way to win a girl over, you just have to make an effort. If you're into her, show her you genuinely care. It's not all about the materialistic things or the sweet love. It's about being happy with the one you love. MAKE THE EFFORT.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
