What Girls Need To Learn About Guys
We Heart It

Oh, boys. Where do I even begin? We love them. We hate them. Honestly, I feel like we've been super judgmental about them. Have you ever thought, "Maybe there's a reason behind why they act like they do?" Well, be confused no more! Here is a list of things that we (girls) need to learn about guys:

1. Yes, they're going to act stupid at times.

As annoying as they may be when they act stupid, just let it happen. They're only human! We all make mistakes and look like a fool at times. It's nothing new. You know what they say, "boys will be boys." Maybe they act this way to catch your attention, at other times they just do it for no reason.

2. It is scientifically proven that men find the color red sexy.

Well? What are you waiting for? Go plaster on that red lipstick girl! If you're not the lipstick type of gal then just go find yourself a nice, classy red dress—Guys will be all over you. Red is a bold color, so go be bold!

3. Confidence is in fact intimidating, but attractive as h***.

Because who doesn't love a confident woman? It's all men ever drool about. There's just something about a confident woman that drives them crazy (in a good way).

4. Being sassy is also attractive as h***, but keep it at a minimum.

For some unknown reason a lot of men find sassy women attractive. Make sure to keep this at a minimum because you don't want to come off too rude.

5. They are not mind readers.

If you have an issue with something they are doing, just let them know! Communication is so important. If you don't tell them what's up they're not going to know what you're upset about.

6. Eat. With an appetite. They love it.

Because who the heck actually cares if you have to eat that fried chicken with your fingers? It's finger food for gosh sake! You don't always have to eat proper in front of them.

7. Space is crucial.

You need to make sure you give him space. He needs to be with his friends too sometimes. You don't want to be too clingy.

8. Not all of them are f***boys.

All guys are different. Let's stop being so judgmental and also stop assuming each dude that comes after you merely wants to bang you and leave. Maybe he does actually want to be with you because you're just that amazing?

Face it: we need to give the male species a break.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
